Change is not always liked, but sometimes necessary!  Our 

Canyon Lands tour scheduled for October "24" has been rescheduled

for May "25".  Grand Canyon stopped issuing commercial vehicle

permits in April for the rest of "24", saying they closed their permit

department to move personnel to other areas of work.  It had nothing to do with the number of vehicles in the park.  So, we will apply in October for a "25" permit and do our Canyon Lands trip in May "25".  I didn't like the change, but then the Lord might know something about the big picture that I can't see!  It's a little late in planning a new trip but we have developed a wonderful four day trip to Crater Lake, the Oregon Coast and the Columbia Gorge to replace the Canyon Lands trip.

Crater Lake is a result of an inside out volcano that is part of the series of volcanic mountains that stretch from California to northern Washington, a line of at least ten major volcanic mountains that are much better explained from a flood based creation world view.  Then it's off to the Oregon coast for an ocean experience that is always special to see but also to learn about the hydro water cycle and how that fits into the post flood weather systems and Great Ice Age.  Next, is the Columbia Gorge, Beacon Rock and Multnomah Falls and learn about their forming from a great flood runoff rather than gradual erosion!  The creation world view just has such a better explanation for our world geology.  Come along ans see the wonders and learn the way it really happened!
